First room had an inop TV. Broken window. Missing refrigerator and a leak in the bathroom ceiling that dripped water and had been there long enough for black mold to form. Second room was ok

Super friendly staff, the rooms were very clean, the shuttle worked out perfect. The lack of AC was the only issue, as our room faced the water and it was sunny and warm, but it wasn't horrible at all. Its a very pretty hotel with lots of history in the PERFECT location.. Everything is walkable. The front desk staff was wonderful and very friendly. I will totally stay there again on my next trip to Ketchikan!

Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was super helpful and stored our fish in a freezer without and issue. Really close to the airport as well

Walking in it felt and smelled fresh in the lobby. The room had the same clean feeling.

I stayed at Cape Fox Lodge about 6 or 7 years ago. This lodge was on the level of other premiere lodges in the northwest I love the location the views and the architectural style of the lodge. The room was clean. I was disappointed that the building and rooms are well overdue for a refresh. The menus in both restaurants were not as upscale as they were for my prior visit. The service was not on the same level either. The pictures in the museum had dogeared corners. The tram was broken and looked like it had not operated for a long time. The last time I stayed here the lodge was pristine and on the level of any other high end lodge in the northwest. This lodge is the prime hotel property in Ketchikan. It definitely needs to be and could be again the premier lodge in southeast Alaska. With that said, I would stay at Cape Fox Lodge again when visiting Ketchikan again.
